PLANTS FRAGMENTS

Project Details
This project is an experimental attempt based on traditional observational drawing.
In this age, anthropocentrism is being challenged, and our physical Space is also expanding into the virtual reality world. On the one hand, de-anthropocentrism has given me a new perspective on how to observe; on the other hand, in terms of the physical space in which the object is scanned, virtual reality allows us to reflect on the existence and composition of things with the subversion of traditional ways.
Therefore, I am basing my experiment on traditional observational drawing. I will use plants as my observation objects. This will expand the creative perspective and visual presentation based on standard observational drawings. I tried to express my observation of plants from different perspectives, such as biological vision, computer vision, the vision of insects, and the vision of humans. Second, I reorganized the scattered observation fragments, trying to construct a plant from a de-anthropocentric perspective. I placed the plants in a virtual reality context of pure data construction, discussing the new possibilities for observing and expressing the objects in this metaverse age.
